Our Services

Lifeguide Health Services extend a helping hand to the community in the following areas:

 

  • Pre-admission assessment of patient's needs.
  • Development of individualized plan-of-care.
  • Coordination with client's physician.
  • Intermittent home visits by skilled RNs and LPNs.Family education and training.
  • Nutritional counseling.
  • Medication administration and monitoring.

  • Infusion therapies.
  • Coordination of medical equipment, supplies and pharmacy services.
  • Additional nursing specialties include ostomy care, total parenteral nutrition, pre- and post-natal wellness programmes.

Lifeguide will provide watchful supervision and temporary assistance. We provide services to the "medically frail or medically compromised" clients whose health status has changed or likely to change due to a disease process, injury, disability, or advance age.

 Lifeguide provides pregnancy related services to help reduce infant mortality and maternal and infant morbidity. We provide post-partum and interperiodic home visits.

The program is meant to educate mothers on:

  • Early signs and symptoms of illness and infection during postpartum
  • Signs of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
  • Breast feeding
  • Importance of infant's  weight gain
  • Correct formular preparation
  • Feeding correct amount and frequency
  • Prevention and signs of  constipation and diarrhea
  • Importance of immunization and well-child check-ups
  • Temperature taking skills
  • Cardio-Respiratory assessment
  • Infant weight checks
  • Instructions on environmental safety and accident prevention
  • Assessment of developmental milestones in infant
  • Family planning

 

The services that Lifeguide Health Services provides are generally assistance to either the disabled or elderly who have trouble with "activities of daily living". Lifeguide will primarily provide its services for home health care and personal care in home. However, Lifeguide may also provide services to nursing homes, respite care, assisted living facilities, adult day care centers, and other community facilities. In addition, Lifeguide has plans for future expansion into the hospice care services.

Briefly, services that Lifeguide will not offer are mental or nervous disorders and diseases services, except for Alzheimer's disease or other dementia. We also do not anticipate providing services for alcohol or drug addiction.
